Data explorer: Step 1 - introduction
The data explorer allows you to explore the information available in the InfoBank using relatively simple search tools. The supporting information is known as 'metadata'. You can use the free text search tool to locate datasets, indicators or area types related to key words such as 'early diagnosis' or 'ethnicity'. You can also use the advanced search tool to undertake more complex searches of datasets based on multiple criteria.
For information, a dataset is a consistent set of one or more indicators loaded into the system.
