Hypos and hypers

The key to controlling diabetes is to balance insulin injections with food and activity. But it’s not always easy and, when the balance isn’t right, hypoglycaemia (hypo – when blood glucose drops too low) or hyperglycaemia (hyper – when blood glucose rises too high) can result.
