This conference will focus on the vascularly compromised/ ischaemic patient. The importance of treating the patient rather than just the foot with the aim of decreasing mortality has been recognised, therefore we are looking at not only emphasizing the control of the ischaemic foot/lower limb, but also to stress the control of the other risk factors for ischaemia with a focus on the mortality of the patient rather than the morbidity of the foot.
