Aims
This workshop will enable you to understand the link between obesity, metabolic syndrome, diabetes and cardiovascular disease (CVD) and recognise your role in preventing and treating these conditions.
Education for Health’s one day workshop covers the following areas:
- The link between obesity and diabetes
- How this impacts on cardiovascular risk
- Interventions that can help with weight management
- Treatment of metabolic syndrome, diabetes and CVD risk
