Aims

Our programme supports the achievement of excellent standards of care, including those identified in the National Service Frameworks.

Courses are for specialist doctors, doctors in training, GPs, and diabetes specialist nurses.

The course has been designed for health professionals who wish to develop a special interest in diabetes care while allowing the flexibility for work in a wide range of other areas (including medical education, health services management, public health).

For health professionals wishing to follow a degree course entirely devoted to diabetes care, one of our specialist programmes in diabetes would be more appropriate.
