Delivering involvement: engagement events

Event details

Your day will run better if the people who come along know why they are there and what is expected of them. You should also explain how the information will be used and what you expect to happen as a result. This will mean that they come along to the event fully informed and ready to contribute.

It helps to send out pre-event information about the topic in question, as well as questions that people can think about to help them focus their own experiences.

You will also need to think about an appropriate venue, catering and travel arrangements. For further advice, see the Guide to preparing for meetings (PDF) 113KB.
