Make sure you have planned how to capture feedback from participants – this is particularly important for a one-off event. Think about how to evaluate the day, eg evaluation forms, group discussion, graffiti wall for feedback etc.
Plan how to communicate the outcomes of the event with participants and the wider diabetes community:
- What will happen with their feedback?
- What can they do if they have any more feedback to contribute after the event?
- How will they know if their input at the event has had any influence on decisions about diabetes care and services?
- Are there opportunities to involve those not able to attend?
