Now you have your group and they are ready, willing and able to be involved, you have to get them together and begin the work. If you have experience of group facilitation or can get someone involved who does, that will help to co-ordinate the involvement.
If not, don’t worry. There are still lots of things you can do to help the group develop positively. The key thing is that someone helps the group to work together effectively, enabling all members to express themselves and deal with conflict and disagreements.
The NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement produces online resources to help you facilitate effectively:

You will also need to think about an appropriate venue, catering arrangements and travel for participants. If you can get some admin support, it will help you. For further advice, see the Guide to preparing for meetings (PDF) 113KB.
