
In all organisations, there will be barriers to overcome if you are to make user involvement happen. Being clear about what they are likely to be will allow you to plan approaches to overcoming them.
You may find it useful to share ideas and learning with colleagues or a wider network. Your organisation may have a learning and development team who can help you find such a network.
Your organisation may have formal approaches to risk management that you will use as part of your business case or project plan development. Alternatively you might have a more informal approach. The important thing is that you consider what barriers you may face and work with others to work out how to get past them.
