
Somewhere along the line you will need to get some budget and staff time allocated to the work. If you can do this from existing budgets that you control, this will be an easy process.
Mostly, it will involve convincing someone else. It is worth identifying the resource you think you will need and researching possible sources of funding.

If budget is not available in your area, you may be able to secure funding from another part of your organisation or from an external source. You may be able to find another organisation with relevant expertise and work in partnership.
