QISMET is an independent body created in 2008 to ensure the development of comparable high-quality self-management and self-care support services for those living with a long-term conditions.
In April 2012 QISMET launched QIS2012 – the Standard for Health Management Programmes and Interventions. This is a standard against which providers of all types of self-management programme and other health management programmes are audited against to achieve QISMET certification.
