In 2009 we asked you to ‘have your say’ on issues and concerns about diabetes care in your area.
The aim of Diabetes UK is to improve the lives of people with diabetes including making sure people have access to the services to which they are entitled.
Diabetes UK has healthcare priorities which focus our campaigning activities (including retinal screening, structured education, emotional and psychological support, early diagnosis and children’s services). However, hot topics give us the chance to make sure that we are campaigning on the issues that matter most to people with diabetes.
In 2009, people with diabetes, healthcare professionals and Diabetes UK staff reported
612 issues.
