During the Annual Professional Conference (APC), professional members are given an opportunity to contribute in a practical way to the work of the Diabetes UK by identifying important issues relevant to them which the organisation and the Council of Healthcare Professionals can support or action.
During the Disciplines Meetings, delegates are asked to contribute to the Charity's work programme by identifying three issues of importance, for each of the disciplines, relevant to Diabetes UK's aims and mission. The Council of Healthcare Professionals considers these and takes them forward as appropriate.
