A flexible approach

The worlds of science and healthcare are continually evolving and Diabetes UK must remain flexible and in a position to anticipate, identify and respond to the needs of people with diabetes. This could involve commissioning research that has potential to make a real difference to their lives.

Diabetes UK recognises the importance of remaining sensitive to new ideas and does not rule out applications for novel work outside the scope of the Research Strategy. This flexible approach will ensure that we are able to support any breakthrough areas of research.

We welcome your views

To do all of this effectively, it is essential that we remain engaged with all our stakeholders over the research agenda. Diabetes UK therefore actively encourages and welcomes your comments and suggestions for future research topics at any time.

Please send your comments, views and ideas for research that you believe would make a difference to the lives of people with diabetes to research@diabetes.org.uk.

Or write in (marking your document 'Research topics') to Research Department, Diabetes UK, Macleod House, 10 Parkway, London NW1 7AA.
