Accordingly, Diabetes UK offers research-training opportunities in the form of PhD Studentships and research fellowships aimed at young clinicians and scientists at different stages in their careers.
These individuals often go on to a lifetime’s work committed to research aimed at improving the lives of people with diabetes, preventing diabetes from developing in those at risk, and finding a cure.
