Clinical Postdoctoral Fellowships
This fellowship has been discontinued. Diabetes UK is developing an alternative scheme which would allow clinicians to carry out research in conjunction with their clinic work.
These are clinical postdoctoral Fellowships lasting three years, which are appropriate for those are medically qualified, who hold a PhD, MD or DPhil and who would like to do postdoctoral studies in an area of diabetes research. The Fellowships provide salary (at registrar scales) and research expenses for the support of a full-time research worker in the field of diabetes for three years.
These Fellowships are advertised annually in the scientific/medical press in May.
