Ways to give
There are various ways you can help to fund our vital research work.
Donate now
Please donate online now - your contribution will make a big difference to the lives of people with diabetes.
Regular Giving
The diabetes research projects that our Regular Giving scheme funds have the potential to lead to better care and treatments of people with diabetes - and, in time, aim to find a cure for diabetes. Please set up regular gift by Direct Debit and invest in the future.
Adopt a Project
The Diabetes UK 'Adopt a Project' scheme is a way for Diabetes UK supporters to provide urgently needed funds for diabetes research, care and support and a range of communication tools, like our information leaflets and website.
By adopting a new or existing project you will become a real stakeholder in the work of Diabetes UK.
Voluntary groups, clubs, associations, educational establishments and individuals are all able to adopt a project. In fact, anyone can adopt a project.
Research projects can be adopted for one year for a minimum donation of £1,000, and for this supporters receive a thank-you letter, a certificate of adoption, a progress update of the project they have adopted, and research-related talks where appropriate. Groups or individuals who have adopted a project will also receive acknowledgement in our Research project directory.
For more information, contact your local Diabetes UK office.
