Research project directory

Our new, stand-alone Research project directory (PDF 1Mb) tells you about the many important and exciting diabetes research projects that you help us to fund.

Funding research

Over the past 70 years, Diabetes UK has been one of the leading non-commercial providers of funds for diabetes research in the UK. In recent years, our total spending on research has increased from £4.5m in 2000 to £6.5m in 2007 - and we're hoping this will increase to £7.38m in 2008.

This has allowed us to support a wide range of intiatives to improve care and treatment for people with diabetes, as well as searching for a cure and learning how to prevent the condition.

New and improved directory

Better listings

We have made the listings more relevant to you, and our projects are now sorted according to where in the UK they are taking place. We encourage you to find out about projects in your area, and would welcome your donations to them through our Adopt a project scheme.

Regular updates

The Research project directory will be updated regularly here, and will be printed and distributed with Research matters once a year.

What do you think?
