NHS guidelines state that all people with diabetes over the age of 12 are entitled to a free annual retinal screening.

We are aware that there are varying levels of access to retinal screening.  Some people find it more difficult than others to access their free annual retinal screening test by digital camera from the NHS.

This is exactly why Diabetes UK is campaigning with the Your Vision Campaign for consistent access to retinal screening for all people living with diabetes.
