November 2007

Dear $firstname
Wednesday 14 November is World Diabetes Day, and this year's theme is 'Diabetes in children and adolescents'. So this month we focus on young people, including our campaign to help schoolchildren with diabetes, our new website for teenagers and a round-up of all our World Diabetes Day news and activities.
With best wishes

World Diabetes Day 2007

 *

Activities are happening worldwide to mark World Diabetes Day.

Most visible of all are landmarks, such as the London Eye, lit up in blue across the world. Just one of many news stories about local and global activities.

Closer to home, you can support our campaign to help children with diabetes in school. Our Roadshow visits Dover, with free diabetes info and screening.

And tying in with the World Diabetes Day theme for 2007, 'Children and young people', we're delighted to launch our brand-new site for teenagers, called 'My life' - the first of three new sites for young people with diabetes.
