2 'heads' celeriac, peeled and chopped (approx. 700g peeled)
450g potatoes, peeled and chopped
1 clove garlic, peeled
4 tbsp light crème fraiche
pinch grated nutmeg
25g butter
freshly ground black pepper
Method
  1. Place the celeriac, potato and garlic into a pan of lightly salted boiling water, cook for 12–15 minutes until tender. Drain.
  2. Mash together with the remaining ingredients and season well.
Chefs tips
  • For a more colourful and healthier version, use sweet potato rather than ordinary potatoes.
  • Freezing instructions: Defrost then heat in the microwave to serve.
