During Diabetes Week the Ribble Valley donned their walking shoes and took their message of raising awareness about diabetes to Clitheroe Park.
The group teamed up with an organisation called Up and Active and walked around the park.
They handed out information leaflets, encouraged people to join in and talked to people about the condition so they could know more about diabetes.
The Mayor of Ribble Valley, Richard Bennett, and the Mayor of Clitheroe, Maureen Fenton, supported the walk and where joined by 12 members of the Ribble Valley group. Along the way they engaged with around 50 people and spread the important messages about diabetes and keeping active.
The Ribble Valley Diabetes UK group meets every second Monday in the month at the Clitheroe Rugby Club at 7.30p.m. If you would like to find out more about the group meetings do get in touch with the North West Office on 01925 653 281.
