A woman from Warrington has taken part in the One Million Step Challenge for Diabetes UK after finding out she was at risk of developing type 2 diabetes.

Sue, a quality development manager, said: “After finding out I was at high risk of developing type 2 diabetes, I knew I wanted to make some lifestyle changes.

Andrew Clayton, 36, will be taking in part in the Virgin Money London Marathon on Sunday 28 April, raising funds for Diabetes UK.

Andrew, a dedicated service director at the Bank of America, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in June 2014, after experiencing symptoms such as tiredness, fatigue and frequent urinating.
