Tobin Bell, better known as Jigsaw from the Saw movies, is calling on people to dress up for Halloween this Friday to raise funds for Diabetes UK.
He said: “It’s pretty exciting being a part of the Saw film series. If I can encourage you into participating in the Diabetes UK’s Dress Diabolical event, that would be even more exciting! Please join this fun event and help the millions of families in the UK who live with diabetes. Dress up! Get involved!”
Dress up this Friday
With Halloween falling on Monday 31 October this year, Dress Diabolical is taking place on Friday 28 October so that people can embrace the fun and dress up at work and in schools and colleges.
Natalie Fischer, Development Manager at Diabetes UK, said: “Jigsaw has fast become a horror legend so we are thrilled that Tobin is sharing in our excitement as we count down the days until we can all dress up for Dress Diabolical.
“All the money raised to take part will help us to fund vital research, campaign on key issues, and offer education and support to more people who are living with diabetes.”
It’s not too late to sign up. To take part on the day, just text DUK to 70123 to make a one-off donation of £5 (Terms & Conditions apply). For more information, including costume ideas and posters, at dressdiabolical.diabetes.org.uk.
