Diabetes UK has just produced a revamped version of its popular ‘Eating well with diabetes’ leaflet which gives people with diabetes helpful tips on following a healthy diet.
The revamped leaflet now:
- provides detailed information on how to achieve a daily balance of the various food groups
- includes a new ‘most commonly asked questions’ section
- addresses various common food myths
- contains even more handy tips on how to achieve a healthy diet.
“For people with diabetes, following a healthy diet and maintaining a healthy weight is a crucial part of their diabetes management," said Zoe Harrison, Care Advisor at Diabetes UK.
