Diabetes UK is calling on all eager sprinters to get out their running trainers and sign up for the BUPA London 10,000 run to help raise vital funds for people with diabetes.
The 10-kilometre run will take place on Bank Holiday Monday 25 May in London and anyone over the age of 16 years can take part.
The Bupa London 10,000 starts and finishes in St. James’s Park and uses Green Park as its assembly area. Runners pass many of London’s famous sights including Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and the London Eye.
Get healthy for a good cause
“This is a great opportunity for budding athletes to have lots of fun and take on a new challenge while doing something worthwhile at the same time," said Ellie Wood, Events Manager at Diabetes UK.
"The dedicated people who help us fundraise make an invaluable contribution to the work of Diabetes UK and allow us to raise vital funds for diabetes research.”
