I like to have fun and go places without my parents, but I'm worried my parents won't let me do that and if they do something bad might happen.
That's great you like to have fun and go out to different places - it sounds like you do a lot of things which keep you happy. Of course as you're getting bigger you want to go out and have fun and go to different places by yourself but at the same time you know it may not be safe for you to do that.
I'm sure your parents love to go to different places with you and like to see you enjoy yourself when you are with them, but they will also understand if you talk to them and tell them you would like to do some things by yourself. Your parents used to be 12 too - maybe a very long time ago - but they will remember feeling the same way as you at that age. Then your parents can tell you what they think is best for you. Whatever bad thing you think is going to happen you need to talk to your parents about this so they can help you.
Your parents have a really important job to do which is look after you and keep you safe and happy, so whatever they say to you remember that they love you a lot and are only thinking about what is best for you.
