Here are five things that we think will help us keep well with diabetes. We hope they help you.
1. Take your insulin.
2. Eat your meals and snacks at the right time and keep active by doing lots of running around and games.
3. Make sure you always carry some fast-acting carbohydrate food with you in case you have a hypo.
4. Wear something to let people know you have diabetes.
5. See your doctor, dietitian and diabetes nurse often.
