Two local Spurs Supporters' Clubs from Derry/Londonderry arranged a football match and a night with Gary Mabutt at Bishop Gate Hotel and raised over £1600 for Diabetes UK Northern Ireland.
The Derry Spurs Supporters Club and the Londonderry Spurs Supporters Club organised the successful events, kicking off with the football match in which the two teams played against one another. Londonderry Spurs won 7-3 in a great game which was well supported.
The celebratory evening with Gary Mabutt hosted 140 members from across Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and England. Gary Mabutt shared stories about living with his diabetes, his time as Spurs captain and also as an ambassador for Diabetes UK.
Diabetes UK Northern Ireland would like to thank everyone involved in organising this great event and for fundraising for the charity.
