Diabetes UK Northern Ireland is delighted to be working with the Banbridge Athletics Club and Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Council for the Bann 10k and Fun Run taking place on Wednesday 24 May 2017. Events such as these are a fun way to get involved and get active; helping your body feel the benefit. Exercise can help manage your diabetes and plays an important role in delaying or preventing Type 2 diabetes.
We would like to thank everyone taking part and supporting the Bann 10k and Fun Run; you are making a difference to the growing diabetes family in Northern Ireland.

Diabetes UK Northern Ireland recently started the ABCD Parent support group (Armagh, Banbridge, Craigavon, Dungannon) who meet monthly in the Craigavon hub, and is for families of children living with Type 1 diabetes.
We also have aparent peer support servicefor parents whose children are living with Type 1 diabetes,support holidays for children and young people living with Type 1 diabetesand information on how to manage your diabetes, whichever type it is.
