Diabetes UK Northern Ireland is calling for people who are affected by diabetes to join an event at the Lough Neagh Discovery Centre on Saturday 24 February. You will have the chance to know more about diabetes and find out how we can fight the condition together.
Diabetes has got a grip on so many lives − over 100,000 in Northern Ireland, and this number will continue to grow every year. We want to make change happen so that people can get the help and support they need to live well with this serious, lifelong condition.
On the day there will be opportunities to hear from fantastic speakers, meet new people and share experiences, and take part in workshops. The event is open to everyone − from newcomers to long term Diabetes UK supporters.
Come along and help us work towards a world where diabetes can do no harm.
The ‘Make Change Happen’ Event will run from 10am-4pm, is free of charge and lunch will be provided.
