We are excited to announce the launch of our 2018 Inspire Awards with Click Energy to celebrate the many ways in which people from right across Northern Ireland go above and beyond to help the local diabetes community.
There are eight categories to nominate people, including Young Person’s Outstanding Contribution; Fundraising; and Supporting Others awards, and this year we have introduced a further award which is the Click Energy Unsung Hero award for healthcare professionals who deserve special recognition in their diabetes work.
We know there are so many individuals and groups who help us raise awareness, hold fundraising activities and campaign on diabetes issues. Without their hard work and passion to make a difference, we would not have the reach and impact it needs to help more people.
There are over 100,000 people living with diabetes in Northern Ireland so we are calling on you to nominate someone who deserves recognition at the Inspire Awards. Nominations close on Friday, 13 April and the Inspire Awards ceremony will be in June.
