It will soon be time to pull on our trainers and get moving for the Belfast City Marathon, taking place on Monday, 7 May 2018. There is a range of activities available − from the full marathon and the team relay, to the fun run and the eight-mile walk.
There are over 100,000 people living with diabetes in Northern Ireland. Diabetes is a serious condition, where there is too much glucose in the blood because the body cannot use it properly.
If not managed properly, it can lead to devastating complications such as blindness, kidney failure, heart disease, stroke and amputation.
All runners who join the Diabetes UK team receive a branded vest, crazy hair, a fundraising toolkit, online support and training tips.
