Get Involved in Wales

There are loads of ways you can get involved and help those living with diabetes in Wales. No matter how much time you have or how involved you want to be, this is the place where you can find out more about all the opportunities available for you to make a difference to people living with diabetes in Wales.

Volunteers and fundraisers the Baldwins have worked tirelessly to raise awareness of the 4 Ts (Toilet, Thirsty, Tired, Thinner) since losing their teenage son Peter to undiagnosed Type 1 diabetes. What you can do

  • Volunteer

    From giving your time as a Media Volunteer to making people aware of their risk of developing Type 2 diabetes as a Know Your Risk Volunteer at one of our Roadshows find out more about our volunteering opportunities in Wales.
  • Fundraise

    You can be creative and Fundraise Your Way with our support, or you can take part in an organised local event to raise money for Diabetes UK Cymru. Find out more and start raising vital funds.
  • Campaign

    Add your voice to help drive our campaigns work forward with specific actions by joining our Diabetes Voices network. If you feel passionately about a particular issue we aren't currently addressing we can support you in starting your own campaign.
