Here at Diabetes UK Cymru we offer support to everyone affected by diabetes, whether you or someone you know has just been diagnosed, if you have been living with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes for a while or if you’re a healthcare professional.

Talk to someone
You can contact ourHelplineservice for advice and support from our trained counsellors by calling 0345 123 2399. The service is available between 9am and 7pm on Monday to Friday.
If you want talk to someone with diabetes we have English and Welsh speaking trained volunteers who have first-hand experience of diabetes. Our peer support service is for everyone living with diabetes in Wales, including parents of children with diabetes. You can get in touch by calling 0843 353 8600 orfind out more about Peer Support.
Join a Local Group
We have a range of adult groups across Wales that provide face to face support for anyone living with diabetes, informative discussions and talks from experts. We also have family groups where parents and children meet to give each other support and have fun.
