Stop smoking this Stoptober

This autumn we are supporting the first ever mass quit smoking attempt launched by the Department of Health, called Stoptober.

Support with stopping smoking is one of Diabetes UK's 15 healthcare essentials, the crucial healthcare checks that every person with diabetes should receive.

Research shows that if you can stop smoking for 28 days you are five times more likely to stay smoke- free. Stoptober leads smokers through a detailed step-by-step programme to help them achieve this goal.
