Designing a brief and simple intervention to help young people with type 1 diabetes to live well: developing a novel intervention with participation from young people

Researchers at the University of Brighton would like to interview people aged 16-18 who have been living with type 1 diabetes for at least 6 months and who find diabetes difficult or frustrating. The study aims to find ways to help support young adults with diabetes.

The interview would be a private online call with Sam. She’ll ask about your experiences of living with type 1 diabetes, and any difficulties or frustrations you have with your diabetes. You would also be invited to complete two short questionnaires before and after the call.

You will receive a £20 Amazon voucher as a thank you for your time. Friends or siblings of young people with type 1 diabetes are also invited to get involved.
