Tomorrow's Leaders

Leadership programme for DSNs, dietitian and podiatrists

This leadership programme for DSNs, dietitians and podiatrists aims to give participants the skills and confidence they need to lead improvements in diabetes care.

The programme not only supports participants to develop leadership skills, it also boosts their confidence and motivation to develop and deliver and high-quality diabetes care. It provides participants with the platform to share aspirations and challenges, and develop a peer support network.

"I have gained a lot of confidence in my own ability and power to influence change."

We are looking for DSNs, dietitians and podiatrists who are willing to embrace the responsibility for delivering improvement in diabetes care. Developed in partnership with Leicester Diabetes Centre and TREND-UK this free leadership course gives participants the opportunity to learn:

  • who and how to influence
  • how to be an effective leader
  • to identify the barriers to quality care and how to overcome them
  • to work with a coach to develop your own action plan.

100% of attendees would recommend this event to other DSNs and dietitians looking to increase their knowledge and skills as a leader.

"It has been a really inspiring couple of days. So useful to share experiences, and the coaching was invaluable! I will recommend this course to all my colleagues."
