Spreading improvement beyond the consultation room and across practices
Developed and delivered in partnership with the Leicester Diabetes Centre and the Primary Care Diabetes Society (PCDS), this leadership programme is for any professional working in primary care with the enthusiasm, passion and tangible ideas for improving diabetes care in their local area.
It will enable participants to develop the skills needed to drive transformational change in diabetes care, and spread improvement beyond the consultation room and across practices. The programme will also be an opportunity for participants to identify both barriers and solutions to improving care, and network with colleagues from across the country.
- Know how to use influence and who to influence
- Understand how to be an effective leader
- Identify the barriers to quality care and service improvement and how to overcome them
- Develop an action plan to drive change and spread innovation across your local area
"I found this course really useful and motivating. I enjoyed networking with others and will leave with many new ideas. I feel more confident in taking my project forward now."
