Development of policy recommendations to reduce the impact of COVID-19 on physical activity and mental health in individuals with long term conditions

Researchers at University of Southampton are running a study to better understand the impact of coronavirus and government restrictions on the physical activity and mental health of adults living with long term conditions in the UK.

They would like to recruit people with living diabetes to take part in a online survey. Questions will assess the impact of social distancing, self-isolation, and/or shielding on physical activity behaviour and mental health, as well as barriers and facilitators to getting more physically active. The survey should take around 20 minutes to complete.
