DERMA (“Design of Enabling Regenerative Materials”). Wound Care by Design: An exploration of the Patients’ Lived Experience

Researchers at the University of Portsmouth would like to recruit people aged 18 or over with any type of diabetes who have a chronic wound, or have had one in the past.

The research team are designing and developing new wound dressing materials that they hope will improve wound healing in people with diabetes. As part of their project, the researchers would like to interview volunteers to explore their experiences of living with chronic wounds and their opinions on the new dressings. Interviews will take between 30 minutes and 90 minutes and can take place either over the phone, in your own home, or at the University of Portsmouth.

If you would like to participate in the study, please contact dermaresearch.portsmouth@gmail.com or Dr Miznah Al-Abbadey
