A qualitative study exploring the experiences of older people with Type 2 diabetes and their informal carers during insulin initiation and ongoing care support

Researchers at King’s College London would like to interview people aged 70 years and over living with type 2 diabetes who have begun insulin treatment in the past 6-24 months. The aim of their study is to understand their experiences of insulin therapy, as well as the experiences of their informal carers.

Volunteers must be able to speak, write and read English, and have access to appropriate technology to be interviewed (telephone or computer/iPad depending on preference). Carers must be aged 18 years or over.

The interview will take approximately one hour and volunteers will receive a £20 voucher as a token of thanks.
