Walking Interventions to Improve Quality of Life Among Adults with Type 2 Diabetes in Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom: A RCTs

Researchers at the University of Reading are recruiting people aged over 18, living in the UK and with type 2 diabetes to take part in a trial. The trial aims to understand how a programme of walking can improve quality of life.

Over the course of 12 weeks, participants will either be asked to complete a 30-minute walk five days per week, or to continue with their usual physical activity. All participants will be given a free smart watch to track their activity, which they'll be able to keep at the end of the study. Participants will also be asked to fill out questionnaires about themselves, their health, and their activity.
