Living with diabetes is relentless and has a big impact on everyday life. The aim of this research is to investigate the factors that influence quality of life of people with type 2 diabetes.
If we are able to identify factors which make diabetes easier or harder to live with, it will then be possible to find ways to improve wellbeing and quality of life by addressing these issues. For example, some people find that medication regimes are challenging or that they are not happy with the treatment they are receiving.
Researchers at the University of Reading have designed a questionnaire which asks people with type 2 to report on a variety of factors which may be affecting quality of life.
You can take part online. The questionnaire will take around 20-30 minutes to complete.
