St George Street Capital is currently recruiting UK investigators to take part in the ARCADIA Trial: a phase II study of AZD1656 in patients hospitalised with Covid-19 and either type 1 or type 2 diabetes. The trial will determine whether this oral drug improves clinical outcomes via increased glucose control and a potential effect on the immune system.

If successful, it will be an important step towards a new treatment for people with diabetes hospitalised with Covid-19.

If you are interested in taking part, contact NCCR@beds.ac.uk for information.
