Around 243,000 people in the Eastern Region have been diagnosed with diabetes and many more may have the condition but not know it.
What we are doing in the Eastern Region
- We are working to raise awareness of diabetes and Diabetes UK in the region.
- We encourage people with diabetes to have a say in their care.
- We work in partnership with local healthcare professionals and local health service providers to promote the continual improvement in service for all people with diabetes.
- We work with local voluntary groups across the Eastern region.
- We support volunteers who are active across the region.
- We raise funds for vital research projects by running fundraising events and working with local companies and organisations.
