School snacks

Don’t worry that things will change at school now you have diabetes – you can still eat the same sort of things as your friends, but you will need to eat regularly. You might even need to have a snack during lessons.

You can still do PE as well, but you might need to check your blood glucose levels and have a little snack beforehand. There’s nothing to stop you going on school trips either.
