The Council of Healthcare Professionals
The Council of Healthcare Professionals (CHP) is a multidisciplinary advisory body whose members inform the work of Diabetes UK and provide us with feedback on whether we are meeting the needs of healthcare professionals and people with diabetes. The CHP also provides support and advice on areas of specific interest to healthcare professionals.
We will be recruiting new members to the Council in autumn 2012 to take up their positions in March 2013. The Council meets four times a year and you would be invited to provide input to consultations between meetings. There will also be the opportunity to take part in project work on key issues for the charity and healthcare professionals working to tackle diabetes.
