Newly diagnosed?

Most people (adults, parents and children) find it a challenge to deal with a diabetes diagnosis.  There is a huge amount of information to take in and it can all seem overwhelming.  However you are not alone and, over time, you will start to adjust.  The important thing is to use the support and information available to help you adjust and make sure you talk about any difficulties rather than bottling it up.  Below is a list of support mechanisms available through Diabetes UK Northern Ireland.

Speak to our Care Advisor in Northern Ireland

The Care Advisor will answer also answer any medical queries or advice requests you may have and can also advise on care in Northern Ireland.  Florence will answer queries by telephone (028 9066 6646) oremail.
