Aged 16-26 and living with Type 1 diabetes?Join us at #TheBig1 on Saturday, 16 June 2018, from 10.30am to 4pm, at Swindon Town Football Club.

If you're aged 16-26 and living with Type 1 diabetes, why not come along to  #TheBig1 on Saturday, 16 June 2018 at Swindon Town Football Club and meet other young people who understand what it’s like to live with Type 1 diabetes

#TheBig1 is a relaxed day out that’s all about you - and it's totally free.

Meet other young adults who just happen to have to have Type 1 diabetes, including sprinter Melanie Stephenson and Made in Bristol TV presenter Jamie Lowe.

Get chatting about the things you care about. Like how to keep on top of your diabetes when you’re backpacking, the best way to bring up diabetes on a date, how to cope with the days you feel rubbish or how to make sure diabetes doesn’t get in the way of having a great time.

You’ll get to share tips and support (as well as those awkward stories) with other young people who know exactly where you’re coming from.

Lunch and snacks will be provided.

#TheBig1 is for anyone aged 16-26 with Type 1 diabetes. But feel free to bring a plus one and if you're under 18, you'll need to have an over 18 with you.

Register for your free place.
